We were recently back to the allergy clinic for a follow up appointment after a year and were given epipen training. We got a couple of packs away with us, one to give to the nursery my son will be attending and one to keep for family and friends. Inside is a training pen, an allergy alert card, a dvd and some information leaflets. If your child needs an epipen, you can ask your allergy clinic for these or order online at www.epipen.co.uk.
This is an excellent website with some great advice and downloads. It has really put my mind at rest having this training pack and I know that the people who care for my son have the confidence to treat him if he has a reaction.
They even have an Expiry Alert Service where you can sign up to receive free reminders by text or email when your Epipen is about to expire. This will give you time to get it replaced. Here is the link: http://www.epipen.co.uk/patient/expiry-alert-service/
